200 amp panel and 200 amp service upgrade
    $5,000

I hired Sean Wyland, owner of YETTI ELECTRIC LLC with electrical license number : YETTIEL810NK on July 1, 2020. He accepted and signed his written estimate with job descriptions on July 1, 2020. I sent him the 50% downpayment via mail with the amount of $2,285 to his address at 3703 California Ave SW Seattle WA 98116 on June 23th, 2020 per his request as guarantee that I am hiring him for my new 200 amp electrical panel and 200 amp service upgrade.

He started the electrical job at my residence on July 21, 2020 due to schedule back up at PSE for disconnect and recharge. On July 21, 2020, He and his new trainee employee arrived to work on my new 200 amp service upgrade and new 200 amp electrical panel.

On July 22, 2020, It rained that day and I noticed under the roof where Sean made a hole to install the electrical mast is LEAKING RAIN WATER from the roof with visible signs of water drops every 20-30 seconds and the meter box is collecting rain water. He was notified and he came to put more sealant around electrical mast flashing boot on July 23, 2020. He also finished the rest of the electrical service upgrade that day but since he forgot to schedule an inspection that same day. Bellevue inspection schedule got filled up fast and inspection got pushed back to July 27, 2020.

On July 27, 2020, Sean didn’t passed the Bellevue electrical inspection due to ground wire to ground rod acorn is under the bolt, needs to be on the back side of the acorn ground clamp and SE cable not allowed inside wall, between meter and panel. He came back to fix the correction on July 31, 2020. Since he neglected to schedule an inspection on July 23, 2020. I was the one scheduled an inspection and closest is August 11, 2020 before he neglect to schedule an inspection again. He charged me $450 in the estimate to get a permit including scheduling an inspection but he only spent $258 to get the Bellevue City permit and yet he forgot to schedule the inspection and I have to schedule before It will get push back to later date again coz my drywall installation and insulation project is getting pushed back on schedule.

On August 8, 2020, it rained that day and there were signs of rain water dripping from the same area where the new electrical mast was installed. Sean was notified again about the LEAKING RAIN WATER under the roof where he made a hole to install the electrical mast.

On August 11, 2020, Bellevue inspector issued another correction to EC informed to see WAC296-46B-230 and add a u-bolt to mast and finish service change prior to re-inspection request. Same day he applied more sealant on top of the sealant he applied back on July 23, 2020 but I didn’t know that leaking was not fix until it rained on September 21, 2020 where he was notified again.

He suggested putting a shingle over the roof flask but he never came and fix it. He stopped responding to my text and phone calls so I called roofing contractors to get estimates and when the roofing contractors saw the way Sean installed the electric mast flashing boot, they asked me who installed it and they called it sloppy work and diagnosed why it is leaking under the roof. Sean didn’t install the flashing under the shingles right but he installed the flashing boot on top of the shingles instead and that is why it is causing water leakage under the roof.

I contacted Sean and sent him photos where the leak are and sent him a text message “Pls schedule a time to fix or replace the flashing coz I’m not supposed to fix this in the first place plus i am soak and wet trying to add a seal but the roofer said it wont work that way coz the flashing wasn't installed right. Let me know if you want to fix this issue or i’ll let roofer fix it and send you bill or your insurance will be billed. Update me what u decided. His response was “How much is your roofing charging? If I come and fix it and fix it the way you want and it still leaks then what. I'm assuming your trying to get your roof redone on my insurance. I'll come and take a look at it. So far your the only roof that has issues it's making me wonder.” Sean, never showed up and stop responding my text messages, phone calls and emails after that response on 9/24/2020.

It is been 109 days since I initially ask Sean to fix the leaking roof that was caused by his job incorrectly and leaking under the roof is still not fixed and he refusing to repair it. There is a big potential problem for molds which can cause respiratory issues and more repair due to damage drywall, insulation and potential electrical hazards when water leak into the electrical panel which is just below the leaking roof if this leak issue is not fix before we get daily rain until spring 2021.

Sean Wyland, owner of YETTI ELECTRIC LLC. Electrical license number : YETTIEL810NK was PAID IN FULL but in breach of the agreement, he did not finish the job correctly causing leaks in his roof and ignoring my phone call, text messages and emails.
