Xum Construction Contractors

Hired Xum Construction in June of 2017 for a renovation of a 1st floor bathroom, replacement of skylight and roof over sunroom addition. There were a total of 14 days that Xum Construction just didn't show up to the job. Complete scam artist. Filed an official claim with the Board of Licensing due to negligent work. Never finished the job, was paid in full.

I hired Xum Construction Company to replace a roof on my raised ranch. I found Francisco (owner.of company) to be very knowledgable, courteous, and competitive with his price. He was always on time, his workers were competent and efficient, I was very pleased with their workmanship. When this project was completed, I hired him to vinyl side the same house, and then build two new decks on the property. This was all done after negotiating the price, which was included labor and materials. Again, on these new projects I found his work to be excellent, and his prices to be competitive. I was very pleased in all aspects of this company's work.
Additionally, a number of neighbors also complimented the work and was potentially interested in his services as well. If you are looking for a contractor with the qualities I described, I recommend you can XUM Construction.

This contractor is a true scam artist. I hired him because I saw a small project that he was working on for a friend of mine and thought he would deliver on my duplex home. During the renovation project, he was the complete opposite person of who I thought I hired, just like most contractors, they'll say/do everything to earn your business then once the initial payment and deposit are made for the work to begin, they reveal their true characters. Francisco Xum took 3 months longer then expected to finish the project because he was sending his workers to do other side jobs and this was affecting my work while I was paying mortgage and bills on the multi home. His crew consisted of 12 workers but on average he would only have 4 men and he was never there to supervise. He took short cuts, bough their work, he used cheap materials and never had any control of his subcontractors. very slow, inefficient, does not take responsibility of his action or lack of actions, he is not responsive, and not punctual to owner/contractor meetings. I would not recommend him to anyone. I am still paying out of pocket for his lack of attention to details.
