By Manny O.October 4, 2018Bathroom remodelResponse from Yanez Home Maintenance Co October 5, 2018Ok This guy is a nut I did not do any work for him He seems to be a disgruntled grown man /son living in parents garage he had nothing to do with these projects and further more as no idea about construction work or remodeling work And no we are not going through any mediation We finished both projects in fine working order At the end I sat down with homeowners(NOT HIM) went over all the work they both said they were happy and paid me in full. This Manny O as made 2 false reviews and is not right I've been in bus. for 30 years and have over1000's of satisfied customers With social media these days this one of our new crosses to bare :(

Talking to my neighbors and seeing the work done so far has opened my eyes towards this crook. Two tiny bathrooms, one of which did need an update due to original pipes and wear and tear of an old 1950's Home. The Master Bath just needed a remodel because it had been an addition and those pipes were still new and copper. What did he do? Replaced them all with PVC piping for ground water. Is this even safe??
In fact, what Kristen P wrote is almost exactly what my neighbors have been talking about with the added bonus of not using permits and/or inspectors!! Not even going to mention a vacation that was taken and to date, no return from him and no word of a return. Mind you, job is only half finished. To hire him would be at your own risk. I bet the more money you have the better service he might deliver. He is an owner of a company he claims has no employees yet he had a staff in Milpitas messing up projects from day one. After checking his license online, we come to find out he doesn't even have insurance for work related injuries that can be sustained 8 comp or any damages that might accurately in and around the house, a list that is way to long to write. They know they were taken and are looking into other means to raise the money needed to do the job over.and the right, legal way. -
By Kristen P.October 10, 2017Multi- room remodel$35,000
I hired Anthony to work on my 2 bedroom/1 bath condo, work included removing the popcorn ceilings, adding recessed lighting and updating the electrical, updating trim and doors, gutting the bathroom and painting. I had a quick turnaround of only 4 weeks so when we met I reiterated the timeline and asked him to be honest if that would work for him. He said it would and that his team would get right on it.
His team didn't know what they were doing, they had terrible workmanship (there is not one room where they haven't ruined the new paint, door knobs, etc) They ruined over $500 in fireplace tile, lost parts to my shower fixtures, blamed their mistakes on me and in general were incredibly rude. Anthony is not professional and when I would check in with him he would respond "to get off my back" I never worked with someone in the service industry who treated their customers like that. I didn't make a bunch of changes, and due to his lack of planning, controlling his subs and his poor workmanship I was delayed to move in, having to rack up over $4,000 in hotel fees. He didn't help pay for that or for rehiring movers to help me move my stuff. They told me my place was move in ready and hadn't even swept the floors.
I would not work with Anthony ever again. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

We hired Anthony for some exterior painting and plumbing in our home we just purchased. Anthony was easy going and easy to talk to and negotiate with. He did a lot of extra things for us that was not on the "to do" list and didn't charge us for it. He even left me half a gallon of exterior paint just in case we needed to touch up on the exterior stucco. Aside from the freebies, he also gave us some tips on improving the drainage system on the exterior of our house, recommendations on power washing and painting the fascia boards & securing the wooden pedestal the water heater sits on. This is valuable information that he said we, as homeowners, could do on our own to save money, but he was willing to do it for a small price. I appreciated that inside tip. He doesn't come across as someone who wants to make a quick buck. He does quality work, communicates what needs to be done, is punctual, approachable, and affordable. He also brought in a helper name Juan who also reflects the same work ethics as Anthony does. Granted there were a few things I had to remind him to do a couple of times, but overall, they work well as a team and do excellent work and are trustworthy handymen. I give them five stars and will likely work with them again.

YOU TOO CAN OWN TWO CUSTOM SHOWER PANS via Anthony Yanez! We have named ours puddles and Lake A. The first shower pan install reminds me of a mini skate board park which allows our shower to puddle in not 1 but, 2 places!! As an added bonus, our Master Baths Shower Pan forms into a lake at your feet and has even made a waterfall behind my unreturnable oversized for the first bathroom vanity, (that was screwed into the wall although it was only going to be a temporary fix until we purchased other means of storage) AND floor board.
I stand by my original complaint that reads how Kristin's review is my review as well with the added bonus of no permits, allegedly. Right now, we were going through CSLB hoping for Mediation but that is up in the air after his rage phone call to my 71 year old mother and countless texts to me (saved all texts for future use)... I'll even put it out there...If you want to see our shower pans, please feel free to get in touch with me.
