  We started out using Youngblood to build a new home, but found them to be extremely rude and unprofessional. We ended up requesting our deposit back and ended the deal. We were fortunate enough to find another lot and another builder who did an excellent job. I would never recommend Youngblood to anyone.

  Build a house

  Youngblood properties allowed us to build our dream home. The process started with Scott who went above and beyond to ensure us he could make this work. He even encouraged us to do a custom home vs one of their plans, which took way more time and patience on his side but he knew we would be happiest in the end. Essentially we took one of their plans we loved and made it our own. Scott answered a billion and one questions and never complained. Talk about patience. Nancy held our hand along the entire build journey. She is very helpful when it came to design choices. She truly cares about her clients and it’s obvious. She allowed us to make many changes, which I know can be frustrating for builders but she never complained. We literally got to build our dream home and we could not be more thrilled. Youngblood brings you the best vendors and we met so many amazing people throughout our build journey. Most people cannot wait for the build phase to be over but I’m going to miss our journey and working with such an amazing and patient team. I highly recommend Youngblood to anyone looking to build. We met with several builders and we couldn’t be happier we went with Youngblood. We feel we got a phenomenal home at such a great value. We were taken great care of along the way and feel we have made friends for life.

  Build our new home

  We just closed on our beautiful new home in Harpers Mill, Chesterfield, VA.
  Without a doubt, choosing Youngblood Properties was our best decision. The process was painless and we got everything we wanted. Working with Nancy and Scott was easy. Any issues that arose were promptly addressed to our satisfaction. We are thrilled with our new home and would highly recommend Youngblood.

  Built 3,500 square foot home

  $625,000

  I would never recommend this builder. She is unethical, unprofessional and dangerously disorganized. At the end of my home construction project and after a lot of mutually agreed upon change orders, she tried to get me to pay a large sum of money for a change order for work that was part of the original building design for which additional pricing or a change order was never mentioned-it appears she assumed I could afford it since I was immediately paying for all the approved change orders as progress was made and figured she'd try to take advantage and wrangle more money from me. She will try to cheat you out of your warranties. She will hire attorneys commissioned to drag out the process of getting her to fix or finish what she contracted to do and to make it as painful as possible to protect your property. In my case, she hired an unethical attorney to try to force me to forfeit ALL my warranty protections for the expensive home I built including the very critical 1 year warranty and 5 year structural warranty. She will not take professional responsibility for completing work after you close. She is destroying the reputation that her father built for Youngblood Properties. She is incompetent and extremely unethical. DO NOT USE THIS BUILDER. There are far too many superior and ethical builders in RVA-she is not a reasonable option under any circumstances.
