    Stay away from these clowns...

I paid a premium to use this company rather than the normal HVAC vendor when building a new house in Pelham, AL. Their initial work was very impressive.
The home was finished in March and they had to come back out around June to "top off" the freon. Repair guy said it was normal since the unit was put in during the spring and the AC unit was just now being used.... Didn't sound like a big deal, so I just thanked them and everything worked well for the remainder of the summer.
The following summer (been in house about 16 months) - downstairs AC was once again not cooling properly - upstairs system was blowing cold air (56*), while the downstairs system (the one we paid extra for, because it was suppose to be MUCH better than the one the builder would normally use) was only blowing 74*..... I tried to call the company (Your heat & Air Man) and left multiple voice messages - finally after contacting my builder to have him call these guys, I finally got a call back....
They finally came out and said it was "low on freon" (same issue from the prior summer) -- I asked "why is it low again" - repair guy said he didn't know,, but to charge it again,, he would have to charge for the froen ---- I asked if this was not something that would have been addressed when they came out the prior year - was told that it was no longer under warranty and I would owe for freon (although they did not charge for a service call)...
Bottom line ---- why is the unit needing freon again for a second year in a row & the bigger question --- why was this not addressed when originally installed -- no answers -- to add to our frustration, after charging - the repair guy said he didn't have enough freon and would have to come back out - which took him two weeks --- again not answering my calls or returning ANY of my voice messages...
When they finally came back out the could not tell me "why" it needed freon for the second year in a row - so much for the "premium HVAC system" I paid extra for........
Not only was this a frustrating ordeal, but with their extremely poor customer service I would NEVER recommend these people to anyone ---
