On 5/1/21 we paid $22k for a new roof with Nick Youssef. On 2/27/22 the roof began to leak profusely from the "valley." Youssef Building and Remodeling strung us along saying they would be onsite to check out the issue. Then Nick claimed he had no ladder (strange for a roofing company). The leak continued and caused tremendous damage to our garage ceiling, less than a one-year-old roof.
Youssef Build & Remodeling retained a lawyer. The lawyer would not give us the COI which this company is required to carry insurance, should something go wrong. This Home Improvement license is governed by the Office of the Attorney General and Nick Youssef is not compliant with building codes. He abandoned coming out to review and repair our less than one year old roof. We had to hire another company to report negligent findings of the roof and repair @ $3,190. Youssef attorney instructed us to file a Homeowners insurance claim for the roof that wasn't properly installed AND for the interior damage to our drywall and denied culpability/ accountability.
Would not recommend and would not use this contractor despite having a license- REALLY BAD BUSINESS.
