Zavala was perhaps the most amazing house call that I've had of any service in my history of being a home owner. I'm a handy person, usually doing my own home improvements, but a minor project turned into a huge ordeal when I errantly drilled through a power line, rendering an entire circuit unusable. Zavala arrived when promised and worked happily and quickly to repair the problem. While present, the electricians, recognizing my enthusiasm for home projects, walked me through every step of the process, explaining what they were doing and how they would have performed my project differently to avoid the problems that I created. They talked me through some future projects, detailing every step that I should take, and even arming me with a few tools to perform the tasks. Additionally, they identified some existing problems with my wiring (which, admittedly, I should have seen!) and potentially saved me from a future disaster. Meanwhile, not a single bad word was uttered in three hours, which as a father of three young children, I noticed and appreciated. They were great conversationalists, sharing personal stories that offered insight into their character, morality, and work ethic. I literally could not be happier with the service that Zavala rendered, and I will keep them at the very top of my call list for every electrical project going forward. You will be well served to place your trust in Zavala!

Brought in two 15ft. Noble Fir X-mas trees on 4ft. platforms and lit them up with miles of LED lighting and oversized ornaments for my seasonal display. Placed everything on timers and kept it serviced thru month of Dec. Quite a breath taking sight that gave much enjoyment to all that came to view. Even suspended a Santa Helicopter flying in 20ft. above with lights. This Electrical Contractor made our Xmas. Thanks, Thanks, Thanks.

Bernie Zavala Recommendation
OUTSTANDING. There are very few words to describe the outstanding service from Zavala Electric. They are without doubt, the best Electrical contractor in the Los Angeles area. We have used Zavala Electric for over 15 years for jobs large and small. They are always prompt, polite and the work is done right.
Recently, Zavala Electric was able to perform a minor miracle for my family. Due to an emergency, our main home electrical panel was unusable. We contacted Bernie Zavala. He came over that day to assess the situation. He found problems not only in the main panel, but throughout the house.
Bernie Zavala put himself and the full strength of his company to work that day. This was a "Rush Job" as our building permits from the city were about to expire. For the next month and a half; from early morning through late night, Bernie and his staff were at work. Every day including weekends. Practically the whole home had to be rewired as Mr. Zavala found numerous code violations in the work of the previous General Contractor who had abandoned the job. It is without doubt that we would not have met approval from the city without the efforts of Mr. Zavala and his staff. In fact, it is almost certain that the home would have been "Red Tagged." Thus, without the efforts of Zavala Electric, our cost to repair would have been much, much higher. Every item of work done by Zavala Electric was done right and passed inspection the first time. Even the city inspector was surprised; as he stated he always finds errors. Not so with Zavala Electric on the job!
On a personal note, I must say how truly great it is to work with this firm. Bernie Zavala is a wonderful man who puts his customers at ease; even in highly stressful situations such as ours. His staff is highly professional, polite and makes sure that their work is top notch.
For whatever your needs in the field of electrical work, use Zavala Electric. I give them my highest recommendation.
