This was the panel replacement we did in the basement months ago. jesse had already inspected to allow mid american to reenergize service. i thought permit was already pulled for this so my mistake. panel was replaced due to water pipe leak and got internals of panel wet and unsafe

We purchased 3, basic 44 inch ceiling fans to be installed. I hired Zenith Electric because I knew the worker who installed fans, I trusted him. He did not provide estimate and when he completed work he said that will be $850 and I can take a check today. I wrote the check but he did not provide an invoice. We did not receive an invoice until 11 days later. When I talked to owner about this he said they charge $140 an hour and $180 per ceiling fan after work was completed. Invoice was hand delivered by Zenith Electric and they stuck it in my mailbox. The invoice just said $850 paid, 3 ceiling fans. The invoice did not line by line break down the charges or tax. Worker who did the install admitted he did not provide an estimate or disclosed to us what there hourly rate was and it would cost us $180 per fan to install. Owner claims his worker was here 6.5 hours, this is not true because he left to go to Des Moines to get on and off switch for one fan to put on existing box. He could of just picked up switch in Indianola. The owner did offer to give me back $250 back but I did not except. Now he claims he offered to return me back my check and that they did provide an estimate. Nothing he claims could be farther from the truth. If they would have provided an estimate I would have not hired them. Why would you offer $250 and check back to customer? Why, because they were less than candid. My mistake was trusting the worker who I have known for almost 2 years. I have documents to prove everything I just disclosed.
