    We had a major leak on our front facing windows for decades- and there was water damage on the wall, frame above and below our windows on top of the garage. We had spent a lot of money with a lot of different contractors over time to get this fixed, and none of them could fix it. Mehrdaad From Ziba Design and Development came and took a look- and immediately identified the cause of the problem and made time for this job with his busy schedule, and completely took care of it- by replacing the stucko, removing the wood etc. Amazing job- top notch professional. It was great working with Mehrdad- price was awesome, the work was amazing- and Mehrdad as a person is an extremely nice individual. Loved his work, and would recommend him to any construction and design job without any hesitation. Thanks Mehrdad..

    Tear down and rebuild

    We did a complete tear down and rebuild that went from July 2019 to April 2020. Mehrdad earned our trust from the start. He took the time to understand our design vision and what was important to us. Mehrdad offered smart design recommendations without pressuring us and was clear that ultimately the decisions were ours. He connected us to suppliers that have done good work with him in the past and we were impressed with the quality of the finishes we selected as well as the timeliness of delivery/installation.

    We ran into unforeseen challenges beyond control that Mehrdad managed efficiently with quick responses and open communication. One of the challenges was the pandemic which came about just as we were approaching final inspection. Mehrdad ensured the safety of his crew and showed up to personally complete work that his workers could not finish due to new safety restrictions. We are thrilled with the final product and love our new dream home!

    Mehrdad is very professional and showed a high level of attention to detail in his work on our home renovation. Where his work ethic and attentiveness really stood out for us was not when things were smooth sailing (which was most of the time), but in the few times where reality deviated from expectations. For a big project like remodeling a house, the question is not IF there will be miscommunication between client and contractor, but WHEN- there are too many moving parts to avoid it completely. But when things (very rarely!) were off, Mehrdad stepped up and made good on his promises to fix the issue, and, crucially, took detailed notes for himself to refer to, ensuring the changes were made to our satisfaction and agreement.

    Even months after the project was completed and the pay checks were cut, Mehrdad continued to stay in contact with us and even stopped by a few times to check on how things were going, making minor tweaks to the house as needed. The level of customer service he provided was incredible, and far beyond anything we've experienced with a contractor (and we've done a few home projects by now). And he is just a great guy all-around. Highly recommended!

    Ziba Design and Development worked with us for a five month loft conversion project. We are very pleased with the quality of their work and thankful that Mehrdad was always punctual. He started and completed the work within the agreed upon time frame and was the only contractor of the three that bid on our work, that was willing to have us live in part of our house during the remodel. I would highly recommend Mehrdad from Ziba Design and Development to any homeowner needing construction work completed. I wouldn’t hesitate to use Mehrdad’s services again.

    I contacted Ziba Design and Development after seeing the positive Yelp reviews and we had a great connection from the beginning. Mehrdad was punctual and very responsive throughout the entire project. He worked with us to obtain permits from the city and started and ended the job in the agreed time frame.
