I bought a home he was selling; that he bought to “flip”.... I heard decent things, so I wasn’t worried. So I bought it. Biggest mistake for me.... rich must not know how to paint, how to prepare and prime walls.... all of the paint in crumbling it is awful... the basement walls are terrible, the back covered cement porch is bubbling and peeling because he didn’t prep it right or use the correct paint. The ceiling upstairs in hall is all cracked and if I would put any pressure it would just crumble...the bathroom walls have yellow gunk seeping out of the paint!!!! Ugh!!!
He put a stair post up for a railing in my basement, and I couldn’t believe it, he put the screw through the living room floor!!! And left it there!!!! (This was after the appraiser came through) so I didn’t see it until move in day...
The windows were “supposed to be in good condition, there are two that have serious condensation in between the window....it looks awful! I would have never bought this house if it looked like it does now!!! And I truly liked this house.. there is so so much more issues I can go on and on.... before anyone buys a flip house from this man or hires him... for your sake make sure to test his knowledge of “the correct” way to paint!!!! Really look at every angel... he cuts corners BIG TIME and he is super lazy will not take time!!!
If your name is attached to a business... take pride in your work! Act like your building for your own family!!! Reminder I did not hire him... I bought a house he remodeled as a flip.... it looks pretty until you see all the mistakes! Especially the paint issues!!!!
