    Fireplace repair

    Terrible experience! Do not trust this guy! Diego lacks integrity. He charged me $561 claiming that he replaced a part in my gas fireplace on 12/18/23. I doubt he put a new part in, because it never worked. Also he left some exposed wires that only turned on the pilot if pressed together. Whatever he removed, cold air is blowing in my house from the bottom of the fireplace like there is an open window. He made matters worse, took my money and disappeared. We actually feel the wind blowing in the house. Few days later when the unit stopped working altogether, when I contacted Diego to come back and fix it he tried to gaslight me telling me that my pilot is frozen and that he did not remove any insulation or wind barrier. I am no expert, but having been in this house for 15 years, never had cold air blowing through the fireplace. After chasing him for two months, I gave up because the weather got warmer. Now winter is back and he is ignoring my messages and calls. He totally scammed me. He has no Google business profile, but has a Facebook page. In my opinion that by itself is shady. I am filing a complaint with the NJ Office of Consumer Affairs. This guy should not be in business.

    $225

    Absolute thief. Took a $225 deposit and refused to return messages. Terrible customer service. Gave Diego every opportunity to return our deposit or complete the agreed installation and no response. Criminal.
