They don’t mean to be this way, but they have some serious issues.
• I have taken off more than 6 days of work to be at my house for an appointment only to be told that they are not coming.
• My wife and I have cancelled multiple people in our family/friends trying to come see or talk with us in person because we thought an installer was coming over but turned out they never showed up.
• I could not be put on any schedule because we had to wait for the installers to fit us into their schedule when they were done with other work. We got stood up every week for about two months.
• They told me they would tape off my kitchen so that dust wouldn’t go everywhere. Didn’t happen.
• Dust got everywhere and they said they would clean it up. Didn’t happen, took my wife and I four days of cleaning at about 4 hours a day to get it all.
• My cat ended up getting sick from all the dust and had to go to the vet three times. He was throwing up on rugs and defecating on rugs and carpets.
• My home Wi-Fi & PlayStation VR controllers were broken due to excess dust in my living room.
• The stone material was ordered over three times.
• The stone material was installed incorrectly.
• The stone material needed to be redone twice.
• The installers took all my Meyers lemons off my tree in my backyard.
• Overheard the installers talking bad about Zothex and never wanting to work for them again. This was by the kitchen flooring installer and the second stone installer. The first stone installer did such a horrible job a second stone installer was called in.
• The first installers stole my Meyer Lemons off my tree. Sad thing is I would have given them some if they would have asked. But they took them all of my tree without any offer from me.
• After telling all the installers to keep my doors closed due to my two cats. An installer left my front door open, and my cat got out for the first time. Had to crawl under my neighbor’s car to get him.
• When I spoke with management about everything, they asked how much I was requesting. I said my vet bills are at $800 but I don’t know how to come up with a price for everything else that happened. How do I quantify a price for everything that I have been through. I told them I would leave it up to them to come up with a fair price. I guess it was hard to do that because they gave me a $800 check for my vet bills.
The sad thing is this is my second time dealing with this company. So, I definitely tried to give them the benefit of the doubt.
The first time they messed up multiple times because they installed my flooring incorrectly. After multiple months of my flooring separating on its own. They put in expansion joints, and it solved the whole problem.
So please learn from my mistakes and don’t make the same ones I did.
Find another place of business that does the job right the first time.
