Multiple Residential Repair/Remodeling
We bought a 2-story, 30-year-old modular home that has an awkward layout with 2 narrow living rooms that we would like to make into a single room. The dividing wall is load-bearing and is the outer wall of the 2 modules used to make the first floor.
We looked into this work about 3 years ago but didn't find anyone for it, so we are aware that removing the wall will be a bit tricky and will involve adding a support beam and probably 1 supporting column.
Is this a type of project you could do? If so, we would be interested in a quote for the wall removal and other renovation work in the living room (closing off a propane fireplace, removing a built-out closet, adding some built-in shelves and storage space, and maybe redoing the lighting).
