Our single-wide mobile home (on a residential lot—not in a park) has mold underneath it on the subfloor. The mold company said they will need to remove all the floor, subfloor, vapor barrier, and insulation. Then they will treat it for mold. We will need replacement of all of those items. Insurance may be covering it, but if not, I intend to pay out of pocket. Need a vapor barrier under the home (which is on piers) and on the dirt underneath to prevent moisture as much as possible.
