Project Overview: Kitchen Renovation
We’re planning a kitchen renovation focused primarily on improving the layout while preserving the existing design aesthetic. We love the current cabinetry, backsplash, and overall finishes, so the goal is to rework the space without fully replacing all components. Maintaining and reusing parts of the kitchen where possible is ideal.
Part 1: Open Concept Layout
We would like to remove the wall and upper cabinets along the far-left side of the kitchen (see Photo 1) to create a wider peninsula with seating that opens into the adjacent dining room.
