Redo service: install 200A panel in basement. Most wiring runs already pulled to new panel location by prior contractor who didn't pull a permit and disappeared. All runs need to be traced, labeled, connected to new panel and roughed into electrical boxes, and connected to new service. Install new service entrance and coordinate with utility. Verify correct wiring size for existing runs. The house is ~100 year old 4 bedroom 2 bath house. The kitchen is stripped to studs and needs permitted electrical before we can apply drywall, etc. Other areas are rework - with existing lath/plaster/drywall in place. Bathroom remodel involves decommissioning the single vanity light above the mirror and rewiring it as two separate wall-mounted lights to the left and right of the vanity mirror. A vanity mirror is a medicine cabinet that will also require electric wiring. I'm available this week to speak with contractors. Electric panel overloaded. A power surge took out the fan. And I had another power surge that affected the TV. And my washing machine comes on. The lights dim or go completely out.
