The Bar Method saved a total of $21k for their fitness studio remodeling with our Premium Service:
Mandy is a Bar Method instructor who was looking to open her own studio. She did not have any construction experience and wanted an advocate on her side to make sure she properly understood the bids she had received. She already had three contractors in mind she wanted to work with, so we introduced just one more. Though it was unlikely she would hire a BuildZoom contractor, we conducted a full RFP and bid evaluation process on Mandy’s behalf to ensure she was getting the best deal. This is our third project with The Bar Method.
Highlighted Point:
Pricing Review. BuildZoom found $15k in project savings during the scope review and evaluation phase, plus an additional $6k in pricing review, for a total savings of $21k from the original bid.

Highlighted Point:
RFP Process. Worked with contractors to turn around detailed proposals in three weeks after the client had been waiting on a bid from her contractor for six months.
The facilities manager was tasked with hiring a contractor for office renovations for the Homeless Action Center. While she is very familiar with facilities management, she wasn't sure how best to get started.
Before BuildZoom, she had been working with one contractor to price the project. That contractor had been working on pricing for six months with little to no updates. BuildZoom introduced to her three contractors who were excited to bid on her project, then began a formalized RFP (Request for Proposal) process. All three contractors provided detailed bids within three weeks of receiving the drawings and bid documents — even before the original contractor submitted his proposal. When the incumbent contractor finally sent an estimate, it was higher than two of the three BuildZoom contractors.
Afterward, BuildZoom helped analyze all four bids (including the original contractor), address exclusions in the proposals, and ensure an apples-to-apples comparison.
