After nearly 70 years, the master shower pan has failed. I was notified by my college student tenant that the drywall behind the toilet looked weird. Upon inspection, there was indeed water damage and soft drywall up to 3.5 feet from floor. Then I saw water stains on ceiling downstairs below the toilet and an active water leak in the hall closet below this shower.
