My 10-year-old water heater
died as they usually do with
time, flooded the cellar, need
a new one.
I have no problem buying a
water heater, I would like to
find an installer that is
reasonable regarding price.
Have spoken with a few over
the past couple of days and
I'm very disappointed that
they will try to drain the last
of your life's blood for a water
heater installation.
I realize things have gotten more
expensive but there is a difference
between fair and rip-off.
I'm a senior citizen, not an idiot.
My last water heater and installation,
Total cost for both, under $700.
I've been given three quotes over
the past couple of days,
$1800.00, $2100.00, and
$1500.00...All rejected.
I don't choose to pay someone's
mortgage or send their kid to
college.
