I’m remodeling my bathroom and am considering installing a steam unit in my shower. The few contractors I’ve spoken with don’t have experience installing steam units but are happy to do it if I purchase the unit. Should I be concerned? What do I need to know about steam showers to make sure this goes well?

Not everyone knows about steam or installing one. Since it is not so common, not all contractors know about it. We have over 25 years of experience for custom homes and we have installed hundreds during the 25 years.
