Mechanical Work
Mechanical contractor responsible for obtaining plumbing permit, paying all fees and scheduling all
inspections.
Mechanical work shall be coordinated with all other trades prior to beginning construction.
Mechanical refrigeration lines shall be run concealed in walls and above ceiling.
Mechanical work, materials and equipment shall be warranted for 1 year
Materials:
Main supply and return ducts shall be insulated galvanized sheet metal.
Flexible ducts may be run for connections to grilles. Maximum length of flexible duct is limited to 14
feet.
Ductwork shall be insulated to minimum code requirements. Sizing:
Mechanical contractor shall size hvac equipment per Manual J.
Each floor shall be served by a separate system(s).
