    Park model addition
    $70

It started out great with Troy and appeared to be moving along fine, until I started asking general questions such as what size windows could I have and what did they cost. He has a very short fuse and shows his temper easily when questioned over very minor things.
As a single older female, doing this on my own and being quite knowledgeable about some building as I had build 3 new houses before, I
Felt I had the right to know and question things as I was the one paying for it all. After being verbally abused by him more than once, I decided my well being and anxiety probably couldn’t take whatever time it was going to take to finish the project and we hadn’t even started yet. So we parted ways and he returned most of my deposit after keeping $5000. For what he deemed he was entitled to but he had my deposit for 5 months with nothing happening so I definitely lost more than him, considering what I could have earned on it and interest lost.
He definitely thinks he has a charm but beware as it very superficial.

Renovate my kitchen, paint a few rooms, install vinyl wood flooring

I had a renovation done on my manufactured home in October 2018 by 3B Construction Services and the so called "Sarasota's Best Construction & Flooring." They renovated and remodeled my kitchen, and installed new high quality vinyl wood flooring. The home was built in 1983, and therefore, had particle board as the sub floor, which acts like a sponge and draws moisture, causing soft spots, bowing, warping, and sometimes rot. Newer mobile homes today use plywood or OSB (Oriented strand board), because it can withstand the water better. It is best to replace the sub flooring in a mobile home quickly before it causes further damage.

A year later, in the fall, my mother and I noticed the floor much lower and the boards coming up in the guest bedroom. When I had my bathrooms renovated perfectly by a different contractor, he thought this was a big deal and ought to be fixed. He spoke with the owner, Jeff Cohn (of Sarasota's Best Construction & Flooring. They sent Jerry Curry,of Curry Tile to inspect the damage. After viewing the damage, he uttered twice, "it's your main floor,"and again when I showed him the low spot in the master bedroom. I asked him why when I was installing a new floor throughout my house and underwent a costly renovation in total, why they would not have replaced the particle board with plywood? He replied later, "that is how Jeff told me to do it. I can't help you. He spoke to my contractor for the bathrooms who realized the extent of the damage, and how important it was to fix it, and he hung up in Mark's face very unprofessionally. He practically ran out the door, leaving me with no solutions, and a totally head to toe renovated beautiful home with floors that were caving in, because of not doing the right thing. They took the easy way out and did not repair the sub floors before installing the vinyl wood flooring throughout my house, and now all my renovation is literally going to go down the tubes!
Also, the caulking between my mosaic tile backsplash and my quartz countertops in the kitchen is crumbling away.
They did absolutely nothing to help me, and would not even admit fault. Do not hire these companies - Troy Larkin, President of 3B has a very bad temper, gets anxious easily, and is extremely difficult to work with. That is why I picked a different contractor for my bathroom renovation.Buyer beware!
