Remove existing bathtub. Install new tub. Bathroom tiling
    $9,000

Nice guys. Father son team. Replaced bathtub and put in tiles around the tub. Worst job I’ve ever seen. Tub was not leveled so grout between top of tub and first row of tiles is almost 1”. It tapers to 1/8” as you go all around the tub. They used fingers to smooth out filler. There is a cheap tool for this. It was uneven and lumpy. Had to dig all filler out ourselves and try to find a solution using a trim tile to cover the massive gap. The niche was not trimmed out using either a trim piece or trim tiles. This is highly unusual. Can see all the tile edges. The shelf that’s part of the niche is not straight. It slopes about 1/2” min from one side to the other side. This has nothing to do with water drainage. The tiles have an irregular edge. Spacers were not used. We asked why and were told the company where the tiles were purchased said not to use spacers. We checked with the company and told no one would ever give that recommendation. So we’re trying to decide if the niche needs to be ripped out and we spend a lot more money getting it fixed. We paid cash and it cost over $8000. I do recommend them for deck painting but that’s it. I really like them personally. I just think they can’t do bathrooms or tiling at all. Very bad craftsmanship. Rushed job.
