He took several days to return my phone call. He quoted me a price but charged me an extra $100.00. They showed up on a Saturday morning. They completed the job but somehow disconnected my doorbell. It was working before they arrived. It hasn't worked since they left. I text him about that but no return text nor phone call.. At first the system was fine but it only works when it isn't hot outside. DO NOT buy a whole house fan if you live in a very hot area, desert!! I got the biggest whole house fan 2700 sq ft. You need 2 units not one for a single story house. This was a total waste of $2500.00. I really haven't used it a lot since it's been in the 80-90s at night. It doesn't cool the whole house at all, just the section where they installed the unit. I don't wish to leave my windows opened at night. Get a swamp cooler you will be more satisfied. Yes, it does burn energy, bummer!!
