Do not hire. A.C.T. Contracting with Matthew Trapp was dishonest on multiple occasions and never pulled the permits as stated in our contract. In addition, after finding out permits were never pulled and construction had already started the inspections office came by to inform us that work done was not done to code. We were issued a stop work order, licensing was informed and an investigation should be in process regarding his contracting license. In addition to those damages, he had touched our AC Unit without a license to do so causing more damage and more money spent to repair. Matthew Trapp was dishonest about pulling permits and doing work to code. During the time he worked for us he would cancel, not show up, and push back work with many excuses. We would go weeks without word from him. We put up with this due to the pandemic to later find out that most his excuses were without merit. We have yet to settle damages court. Do not hire.

My experience with Matt was more than disappointing. After being recommended by a family member we really trusted Matt with our project and money, that was a mistake. Matt lied to my wife, and to myself multiple times over the phone, and in person. Matt promised us features he never delivered on, he would show up late frequently, or not show at all quite often. We had several liens placed on our house due to Matt's failure to pay his subcontractors. Matt would create excuse after excuse when it came to payments. While I was at work, my pregnant wife ended up delivering checks to subcontractors all around Moore and surrounding counties one day so we could have the liens taken off our property. Matt has told me several times that he intends to make this right, and I really hope that is the case, because with a newborn and a new house we could really use the money that he still owes us. Matt is a nice guy, and he comes off very genuine, but in my experience, he cannot be trusted
