    Bathroom Remodel
    $12,000

Same experience for us!!! How many times I told myself to google the contractor before giving him a check!!!! He underbids other contractors just to get that deposit check and then starts to waste time and does a horrible work. He was hired to remodel two large bathrooms and said it would be done in three weeks. By the end of the week two - nothing was done! He broke few walls and some old tiles but the place was a mess with old cutout tub and all the garbage on the floor in adjacent bedrooms. Yet he asks for more money. Then he claimed that he bought the material , he spent $400 of my money in Home Depot on $1sq/ft tile vs what we wanted and paid for $2.5sq/ft tile. I fired this scram artist and lost $3.5k and time with him. His name is Alexis Miro - I hope his children google him one day and see what a scammer and a low life their dad is. STAY AWAY FROM HIM!

Master bedroom walk in closet, bathroom, and laundry room addition
    $45,000

If I could give this man negative stars I would. He was quick to come give us a quote and put together a timeline and a contract. We signed the contract and provided him with a payment for phase 1 of the project, which was $14K. He cashed the check the same day. He was supposed to start May 3rd, per the contract. The night prior He sends us a text stating the order is delayed and he couldn't start. Let me add that during the day we tore down our gazebo that was built above our hot tub, as agreed and moved the hot tub from the area, so that they can begin construction. This was not an easy task, and the gazebo was not cheap to build. We patiently waited about 2 weeks and asked for a status. His next excuse was that he was delayed on a project and thats why he hasn't started our addition. We wait yet again another 2 weeks and ask for an update. The timeline is moved to the first week of June. Fine, we understand delays happen. But now, here we are, and the man is no longer communicating well. He finally replies a few days later and states he's not in the state and handed all his work to his brother. At this point, we just want to cancel and need a refund. He is stating he doesn't have our money and that his brother is M.I.A. AND he is not out of the state. I don't believe this man ever had any intention of doing the work. We were basically scammed and are now ripped off of $14,000 of our hard earned money. I see there's a positive review here and I don't see how that's possible. I wouldn't put it past him to have written it himself or had a family member write it. This man is a scam artist! Do NOT PAY HIM UPFRONT FOR HIS WORK. HE WILL WALK AWAY WITH YOUR MONEY.

I don’t know what the last customer experienced with this contractor , but our experience with Alex was exceptional to say the least. We been dying to get our not so modern basement finished and then we ran across his ad on Craigslist in the Lehigh valley section. Needless to say the quality of the finish work was a 10/10 for my husband and I. Alex was very nice and transparent with the process and he provided us with pictures everyday with a detailed description of what was done the day of , which My husband and I found to be really cool and informative for the next project we will hire him to do our Master Bathroom next! I highly recommend this contractor to anyone looking to get work done in the Lehigh valley and Northampton area.

P.S - He is licensed and insured and both are currently active and in good standing. So if I were to guess that last customer must’ve try to get over or maybe tried underpay the guy for his work. Idk just my opinion.

Avoid and hire someone who is knowledgeable and a real contractor, not a guy who wants to be his own boss to send different people each day. Quotes and invoices given are for projects, and then he wants to give you receipts after for you to pay for materials needed, yet that the quotes were inclusive to complete the project at hand. He tries to cut corners and rush jobs if he doesn't like the project once started, and even the crews he sends say they are not comfortable doing that type work, or worse go we don't know what we are doing today, he told us to come here and then they have to wait for him to call or show up. He tells you one thing and his crews another, and when you ask about it he gets defensive. If you have a contractor to have whole house ceiling done, that does not mean just paint over the cracks or nicks you said you would get done (just because its extra work and time). If you quote to build a kitchen island or peninsula addition, send someone who knows and don't send the client the receipt for more money for materials you bought. He calls his clients profanities, and unless you let him take your money for quick rushed work, he realizes he didn't get the fast one over you, and makes the project drawn out and hopes you want to part ways. Avoid and hire someone who puts you first, not his time and how low he quotes you to try and send receipts and add invoices for more work, that is already needed for the project he quoted. He talks a big game, but went to the the baseball field with his hockey skates for batting practice.
