    We were connected to Alfredo by our real estate agent who highly recommended him, and he did not disappoint! Alfredo and his crew were highly skilled, hard working, and very responsive for our whole house renovation project. They converted our house to an open concept, improved the structural support of the house, and implemented our designers recommendations. Moreover, him and his crew worked quickly to finish the house on our tight timeline. Alfredo had excellent ideas at every stage of the renovation, and we are thrilled with the results. His rates are reasonable and we recommend him without any hesitation.

    I hired Alfredo Morales, the owner of A M Green Construction on several occasions. The first were small specific repair projects and they went well. The third went pretty well but work was left incomplete and I made the mistake of moving forwards on a fourth project which involved a basement remodel effort before the third was done. The fourth project was not completed as per our written agreement and he left work unfinished as he rushed off to another project. Ultimately, despite having helped correct some of the problems with the incomplete work, he was not willing to address all of my concerns and refused to discuss them in greater detail with me. He did not work things out with me further until I had him served and he appeared in small claims court where the matter was ultimately settled.

    The first projects involved repair of some wood framing that support our front staircase and the repair wood that supports a portion of our roof. Both projects were completed as expected and within the agreed pricing. If was reviewing Alfredo at this point in our work together I would have most likely given him five stars.

    The third project involved the construction of a new closet in an existing bedroom. The majority of the project was completed as expected but the painting was not. I moved forward with Alfredo on another project because the painting was delayed in part due not having the correct paint, but ultimately, Alfredo was not willing to finish this work or credit us back to cover the cost of having our house painter do the work. For this part of the project I would have given Alfredo three stars out of five.

    The final project was more extensive and involved new construction. He did a lot of the work well and in some cases his creativity was quite valuable. Unfortunately, much of the work was not finished to the level agreed on and it took me hiring other contractors to do the work. I had made the mistake of paying Alfredo in full for the work I believed that had been completed (I was partially disabled after foot surgery during the time and had limited ability to inspect his work and wanted to trust him based on our prior history). At this point I was quite frustrated and if I had reviewed him at that point I would have given him a three out of five stars. The fact that after repeated efforts to work things out with him, including making a number of compromises on my part, I had to go through the additional effort of taking him to court made this the most difficult experience I have ever had in working with a contractor or other professional or trades-person. Hence my final rating of Alfredo.

    I would not recommend Alfredo to anyone for any work, under any circumstance.
