Absolutely terrible experience. Our HOA hired A&M to paint the exterior of our four building/12 unit townhouse community. We gave a 50% deposit to start the work and an additional 25% when the main surface area of two of the four buildings were completed. This did not count electrostatic painting having been done yet on balcony railings on any of the buildings. Shortly after getting that last payment, work came to a standstill and the project has been in complete limbo for the past six or so weeks. Basically, we have one untouched building, one building that is partially painted, and a whole bunch of railings on all four buildings that require electrostatic painting. The owners of the company have not paid their employees, who keep knocking on residents doors to ask if anybody has had contact with said owners because they are due back wages. A portable toilet, a lift, and a storage container were placed at our property by A&M. We have since found out that all three of these items were rented by A&M and all three of the companies that rented these items to A&M have not been paid. Basically we are at a point where they have 75% of our money and approximately 50% of the job has been completed and instead of having this project completed as it should have been weeks ago, we are now about to begin legal proceedings. And one other thing, if this review did not make you run the other way, make sure you check the Florida department of corrections database with the owners names. You will find that one of them is a convicted felon. We wish we saw that before hiring them.
