    Needed estimates.
    $0

I first submitted my information to this company through their website. I received no response to that. I then called them twice to give my information. Each time I called, they told me I would hear from somebody in two to three days. I didn't receive a reply until I left a negative review.

By the time I heard from someone named Ed, I already had another company out to inspect the damage in my home. I told Ed I'd get back to him if it didn't work out with that company. That company didn't get back to me for me to pay them and provide the estimates.

I decided to try submitting my information for a project on Yelp. I received interest from one company. That company didn't call when they said they would, so it seemed like it was going to fall through with them. I called back Ed to set up a day and time to come out to visit.

I ended up hearing from the company that I found after submitting my project to Yelp, and it seemed like they were going to come through with the estimates I needed. I called Ed back to cancel our appointment because I didn't want him wasting his time coming if this other company was going to provide the estimates.

This other company wasn't calling when they said they would, getting back to me days later when I wasn't sure if I was ever going to hear from them again. I decided to call Ed to reschedule another appointment. This time he told me his boss didn't want to be involved with providing estimates if they're going to be used in a lawsuit. He referred me to another company, which didn't respond.

After getting the runaround from two other companies, Ed and AW Martin got rid of me by referring me to a company that also didn't want to get involved. If a company has a problem with their estimates being used in a lawsuit, that sends up a red flag for me. It's frustrating, but I'm quickly learning how to deal with contractors. Don't tell them what you intend to use their estimates for.

Fortunately, I've found a fifth company that I believe is going to provide the estimates I need. I was honest with them and told them why I needed the estimates, and they're even willing to appear in court to back up those estimates for a fee. In that case, I'm sure I can trust them, and their estimates will help me greatly with my lawsuit.

I was displeased with the length of time that they took to complete the bathroom rehab, which had my entire bedroom & master bedroom in upheaval for over 3 months. The excuse was that the Supervisor for the position went on vacation for 3 weeks?

In addition the person that they hired to replace the carpet never tacked down the entrance to the bathroom & bedroom, so the carpet started unraveling after the 1st week.

In addition, the person that layed the concrete for the bathroom floor dumped the excess in my backyard.

In addition they dug up my backyard to look for the leaking pipes & never replaced the grass in that area.

In addition, they had to disconnect my Air Condition unit in the backyard that was on a cement slab & when they reconnected it, the ground was not level, so the slab was slanted & the Air Condition unit is sliding off the pad.

I originally told them about these things before they completed the job & they assured me that they would address them, but they did not. I have left messages for them with no return phone call.

I have not made the final payment, because I am waiting for them to complete these things!

    Repairs from storm damage

Hired for repairs from storm damage. The exterior work is shoddy as the rake board has crinkles, bent metal and numerous seams. Poor workmanship. Gobs of caulk, and re bent soffit instead of replacing which is now leaking. Would not hire again, the whole process was not pleasant in my opinion. I wish I can send pics.
