DON'T HIRE THEM!! Once they get your money - they don't care. Our unit is 5 months old - had a defective motor. They took over 3 weeks to fix it and now say they are charging me for them to come fix the defective motor.
They couldn't get here earlier, because they were taking PAYING customers, not those who already paid.
They said the parts are covered, and labor is free for the first year. However, they said they are charging me, even though we paid for a working unit to be installed, they want to charge us even though the part was faulty.
They didn't put in the surge protector we requested and said we will have to pay for them to come out AGAIN and put that in.
We called Carrier - they gave us the name of R&R in Spokane and two others in Spokane. They said it's customary to give 1 year free labor when you do an install and we should NOT be charged for them to "Make it right and replace a faulty part". They told me the people they recommend are specifically licensed with Carrier and they are all in Spokane.
Save yourself the heartache and stress - call someone in Spokane!!
