I purchased the garage door installation from Sears who contracts with Abracadabra Installations and paid $150.00 to Sears. When the installer arrived for my appointment he informed me that I needed an extension kit for my garage door and we discussed the installation. He returned after I purchased the kit and informed me that it would cost an additional $450 to install the opener on my single door for a total of $600.00!!! He never mentioned any additional costs when he came to my house the first time. He seemed confused and discussed all of these "new requirements" which made no sense. This is the 8th opener I have had installed and the first time someone tried to pull a fast one on me. This was unprofessional and a waste of time.
