The first couple days went well. But the contractor booked a job up the street and stopped coming back. He left two workers there unsupervised to do the job who would leave after a few hours each day, or not show up. They didn’t speak English so it was hard to communicate without the lead contractor there. They damaged our house as well as several belongings. He also changed the price half way through and yelled at my husband when he questioned him on the timeframe and damage. The job took twice as long and was never finished. Ultimately we had to hire a new contractor to complete the work and repair the damage to our house. I know this contractor to have done some nice work at a friends house, but he was present the whole time. It seems he abandoned our renovation job once we booked a new build.
