I had a long list of items I wanted Adams Construction to complete. He quickly quoted all jobs on a Sunday. He started work 4 days later and because of the rain started work on inside projects. The Snap-together floor project in Kitchen was completed quickly. However, quality suffered because of this speed. The quality of the Installation for the floor on a scale from 1 to 10, 10 being great, was a 6 for the floor and a 2 for the steps. On the steps he also did not stick with the plan discussed and damaged the walls around the steps. I will need to have the steps redone, and now the wall. The second snap-flooring job floor was a 6 also. I paid Adams in full for the work completed and was told Adams construction would come back Tuesday to complete the project. After this the problems started. No Show, No Call, I called at the end of the day on Tuesday and, No answer, so I left a message. I received no return call, so I called again no answer no return call. On Thursday I called again, no answer no return call. So, I called a friend to call and see if Adams was just ignoring my calls, and yes Adams returned my friends call in hours. I called again and asked for an explanation and got no return call. I never treated the workers poorly or gave anyone any grief. I was always fully prepared and had everything out of the way. If you can’t even rely on a handy man to show up on schedule or to explain things when problems arise or even give a call back this is not someone you want to hire. Basically, he just did the most expensive part of the jobs as quickly as he could and then bolted without explanation. My Opinion is, Adams Construction really sucks, if you want a responsible reliable handyman Adams construction is not what you are looking for.
