Adrian Roman was contracted by the seller of the house we bought to perform $7,963.99 of work. Scopes included $6504.99 for crawl space work and $1459 of roof work. He was paid in full for this work and was tasked with performing the work after we had moved in and the sale of the house closed. He came out and inspected the attic/roof and looked at the crawl space, but performed no work. Months went by as he looked for roof tiles that would match the ones we had and was unable to find them. As the roof work couldn't be done by his company, we agreed on a $1459 refund. He delivered a check. He then went on to say that he had performed the crawl space work, which was not true. We hired a professional home inspector to look at the crawl space and confirmed with photo evidence that no work was completed. He then agreed to come perform that work. However, in the meantime, the $1459 refund check he'd given us bounced and we lost all faith in his company. We asked for a full refund of all work and he agreed to do this but never showed up with a cashiers check or money order. We are now in the process of filing a complaint with the Construction Contractors Board (CCB) to try and get a full refund.
