I own a 3 flat Apt building and decided to get all new windows for the entire building through Advanced. One floor at a time in 3 years. The garden apartment was first, great no problems, 2nd year we did the middle floor. Well now we have problems. Whenever there’s a heavy rainfall rain water cones through the interior top part of the window. I called Advanced back out here twice only for them to tell me it’s a problem with cracks in the bricks that need tuck pointing. (Even though I have owned this building for 20 yrs and never had this problem before!) Steve caulked around the windows and again said if this continues you need to get these cracks fixed. Well here it is going on 3 years and I still have the problem. I had a tuck pointer out to tuck point all the cracks around the windows and front & side of the building. We had a huge rainfall last night and again water is coming through. I called Advanced and they asked for pictures of the water coming in and the tuck pointing that was done. I just sent all that in. This window needs to come out and reinstalled, 3 years now I’m dealing with this. I refuse to have my top floor apartment windows done with Advanced until they fix this problem! Again, I have never had a problem with water coming in BEFORE these new windows were installed.
