NO!! I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND AFFORDABLE HOMES IN CRESTVIEW!!!!
Bought our home around March 2021, finally moved in May 2022. It's now Dec over 7 months later and both ends of the exterior has not been completed, no skirting, two of the exterior doors leak, plumbing, electrical issues. And over 60 recorded major repairs to be made. There private contractor that is responsible for many of the repairs will not respond to calls and messages and when we finally speak with them and or affordable homes we get LIP service and flat out lies.

My husband and I purchased what was described as 'The very top of the line, best of the best' manufactured home in 2019. Official move in Feb. 2020. Our initial meeting with Affordable was great, they know how to sell their product. However, as we went through the process, things deteriorated quickly. Staff became difficult to deal with, frustrated with our questions due to deadlines not being met, didnt like my 'firm' approach. We heard they made complaints about us to vendors and spoke incredibly ill of us. Vendors in turn offered to work with us direct. Once our home was set up, the dealer, Affordable and Scotbuilt (manufactor) gave us the run around on our punchlist items and much needed repairs. We had leaks, plumbing issues, screws under our floors that tore holes everywhere. We were missing doors, windows, trim, ect. The leaks have left permanent damage under our kitchen flooring and our guest bath, which has extended into our laundry room. The HVAC work was completed so poorly that our ducts disconnect under the home, due to incorrect fittings. At one point a 'handyman' of Affordable offered to fix our concerns under the table. Our trim throughout is made of particle board....it expands when wet. Walls poorly painted, doors so crooked that they are damaged. I truly could go on and on. Covid hit shortly after move in and all requests for repairs, promised repairs, were pushed off. Pushed off for so long that our punchlist deadline expired and Affordable as well as the manufacturer declined any further assistance.
We set out to purchase a house and we did. We have made a home of it, so in that aspect, our experience with Affordable was a success. We'll be paying a mortgage for the next 20+ years, I just pray that our very poorly built home lasts that long.
