Warning - do not use Iran for your project. We hired him based on a request we put in this group for someone to pour a concrete patio for us. He has stolen over $2000 from us for our project deposit. Our county requires a permit for concrete patios. He failed to show us a permit for our concrete patio project and after weeks of waiting we personally connected with the county approval office to see if we could do anything to help push it through. They confirmed Iran isn't even listed as a contractor in their system which means he was never authorized to get a permit, unless he registered, which he had failed to do. It was apparent he knew this as well because he tried to lie, insisting the permit was in progress and that we were ok to start the project, all the while knowing he had never even properly submitted the paperwork for it. Thankfully we refused to begin the project until we saw an approved permit. However, we demanded a refund for our deposit money and he has now stopped answering our calls and messages. We are going to be forced to file a police report and deal with the frustration of trying to get any amount of our money back.
