Brian installed some wood trim on my kitchen floor in my house less than a year ago. Several of the pieces he installed have come loose and need to be re-installed. I let Brian borrow a piece of the wood trim to match the wood trim he said needed to be replaced. I tried repeatedly to schedule a time for Brian to replace the wood trim that came loose (Brian never told me I can easily glue the pieces back on). After repeated efforts to schedule the work, Brian finally said he would do the work, but called 20 minutes before he was supposed to do the work the day of to cancel. When I talked to a different contractor who said the wood trim could easily be glued on with wood glue, I told Brian in advance that I didn't need him to do the work as he was going to charge me $150.00 to repair his faulty workmanship. He got very angry with me, telling me never to contact him again as he does not have time to waste. I asked several times for him to return the piece of wood trim I lent him to match and he never returned it. I now have to purchase some wood trim because Brian wouldn't return a piece of my property that I let him borrow with the expectation that he would return it.
