I hired Eric’s wife Deborah Bakosh to do the landscaping portion of a total remodel. Eric helped with some of the drainage. Deborah laid an artificial turf for us but the seams were done very poorly. She agreed and said she’d fix them but hasn’t followed up to schedule the work. It’s been 7 months now since I highlighted the issue. All she wants is for me to pay the final invoice before she’ll fix it. I’m worried given the lack of desire to fix the problem with the money outstanding (which is roughly the cost of the lawn material), that there will be even less once paid. I’m at a loss. We’ve been advised that it’s normal to hold back final payment till the work is completed...
