Just awful, hired AKEA Enterprize, Cortez Gross, as general contractor for my single family home renovation and it was the most awful experience EVER. I would not recommend him or his company for anything. This company was negligent, did not perform work according our contract and took off with thousands of dollars leaving me with nothing to show for. Communication was terrible and at times non-existent. So many excuses for being non-responsive. Deposit was was given before services where performed. Cortez constantly asked for more money before money was due per contract, and before work paid for was completed. Cortez constantly ran out money asking for more without performing work claiming that he underestimated and had to pay his subcontractors. Installation of new electricity went horrible and resulted in 3 failed city inspections. Rough-in plumbing, HVAC/mechanical, rough-in Electrical, Roofing, dormer addition was not completed fully or correctly. Work was not completed according to architectural plans as promised. I paid him for a new water heater, drywalling for entire house, staircase construction, demolition, flooring restoration, framing, and this company ran off with the money and did not provide as agreed or per contract. This is just the half of it! Wasted so much money and time hiring AKEA Enterprize. Consumers beware!!!!
