Ron Alford ( doing business as Alford mechanical Inc)Is a dishonest human being! He took $10000 dollars to start a project in my house. The project was an addition to my house. the project was supposed to have been finished in 2 months time, but after six months he has not completed even a fraction of the job. When confronted he will make every excuse as to why he is not showing to work, such as my wife is sick, I'm sick, car problems.every excuse in the book he will throw at you. I've caught him doing other jobs when he was supposed to be working at my house. After many phone calls, he will tell you that he is going to show up and get an early start , but he never shows up. Don't give your self any stress as he is a very dishonest human being, he will not get your job done and he will make your life miserable. He has spent the money on god knows what and now he has no money to work on my house. He has destroyed my house which I have to hire someone else to clean up his mess.

By MaureenApril 6, 2012
Nice Guy. Told him exactly where problem areas were on tar and gravel roof. Ron suggested a vinyl roof. Many punctures (over 20) were made into the tongue and groove inside ceiling when vinyl was being screwed in. Areas were patched. The first year Ron did come back when problems arose. Since October of 2011 contact has not been possible. First the old phone # was not working but the new phone # from the internet the mailbox was not set up for weeks. I occasionally call the number, leave a message and # for Ron to call me and have yet to hear from him. I have contacted the BBB and the City of Albuquerque. The city told me no permit was pulled when old roof was taken off and new on put on. A big concern is if any of the patched were the screws came through the ceiling start to leak Ron will be unavailable
I would not recommend Ron since he is unavailable and doesn't return calls.
