***** HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!! A CROOK HOLDING A PAINT ROLLER AND A HAMMER!! *****
My girlfriend and I hired the services of All Facets Construction to do some make over work at a small 705 square foot condominium in St. Louis Park in March of 2017. We agreed on a price for everything and signed a contract with the owner. We hired him for to do some wall painting, cabinet re-facing, light electrical, door installation, appliance installs, etc.
While installing a new dishwasher, the owner was instructed to turn off the water in condo before doing any of the work. The building is about 40 years old and we advise him to check with the Building Maintenance Supervisor before doing anything for proper instructions in shutting off the water.
He neglected to do so, broke a main water pipe and flooded the kitchen area which destroyed the hickory hardwood floors. They were water soaked and completely destroyed. He left the condo with wet towels on the floor, all the lights on, the radio blasting and was nowhere to be found.
Begrudgingly he admitted fault and wanted to just replace a section of the flooring which would obviously cause a mismatch to the flooring. Because of his attitude and the lack of sincerity in apologizing for his error, we were forced to file an insurance claim.
We initially paid him $1200.00 in cash to begin the work and he refused to agree to even pay half it back for the time lost, money spent and most of all the work that he never completed.
Dishonestly and the lack of integrity can only get you so far in life.
UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES, whatsoever, hire the services of All Facets Construction. The owner is why contractors get a bad name and reputation.
