Unfortunately, after Wen finished we found various "land mines" (aka shoddy construction, leading to costly repairs). a) Window leak from top, into the wall. b) plumbing under the sink, unstable so fell down under its own weight. Wen's proposed solution was to use some string to hold it up. c) toilets installed with their drainpipe at the subfloor level, not the finished floor level. And no flange extender used, just improperly used two wax seals (only one wax seal is ok, but two creates too much area which gets compressed when sitting on it, creating a leak of sewage into the living room below. d) Kitchen granite countertop not properly supported. So one slab sunk, lower by several inches, at the intersection of the L shaped countertop. ## A couple other problems, but suffice to say: When you count on a Contractor, "you don't know what you don't know." Just because it may look ok, unfortunately with Wen's job, you can't trust the underlying quality.##
