Recently had a roof replaced by Allen Comstock. I paid for a lifetime roof, and received shingles which were lifetime and the cap shingles are 20 year. The spacing and lines of the rows are very wavy and not installed according to Owens Corning specs....which means obviously any warranty claims will not be honored. Al uses Silicone caulk instead of flashing to seal chimney and other penetrations. Absolutely destroyed my gutters when stripping the roof.
His address he gives and claims to live/own the home is actually his parents home. The refuse to give out and address as to where he lives.
I had my roof inspected after Allen Comstock had completed the job. I suspected there may have been a few mistakes. Allen did come by and agreed to a settlement to repair what he did wrong....and from the point on , he never answers the phone again.
