Prior to moving his log home business to Pagosa Springs, CO, Gerald Dietz (owner of Alturas Log Homes LLC) was locsted in Alto, New Mexico. We contracted Alturas Log Homes to build our log home in Quemado, NM. To make a long dreadful story short, he started the construction, took our construction monies, never completed the work, and skipped town moving his business to Pagosa Springs. We sued Gerald Dietz, his wife Dede Dietz, and Alturas Log Homes, LLC and won a judgment in excess of $112,000. To this date, we have never been able to extract a single dime from this fraudulent contractor. Buyers BEWARE!
