Out neighbors recommend Amado.
Amado came and reviewed our kitchen. He had a bid proposal made the next day. We meet with Amado he went over the time frame told us what to expect and what might go viral. Amado completed our kitchen on time and on budget. Since then (2015) we have done several project with Amado. We have recommended Amado several times to our friends and family and they have had the same experience as us. -

****WARNING****,WARNING*****WARNING***** Amado Guerrero is a THIEF and a FRAUD!!!! I hired him in December 2014 to repair some wood floors and re-pull (re-tighten) some carpet in my condo. I never like paying for any work till the work is done, but he asked if I can pay him each time he came over. ("He kept saying that he is a honest church guy") and I was like a Fish "hook, line and sinker" and fell for it.The job was an easy task that any subcontractor could do, so I thought okay. His quote for the work was about $100 dollars cheaper than another subcontractor whom quoted me on the work. As he started the work, there were many red flags that were coming as he was working on the floors, as if he didn't know what he was doing. After working on them the first day, he left. The third time he came back he then came at me and stated that the work was going to cost me more (about $500 more than the first quote) putting me out of my budget for a simple job. He was already at my house two prior times and not much was work was getting done, this is when I started to worry. This was already after paying him two payments. So now I felt that I was "Locked-In" now since I have already paid him this amount of money already, I stayed with him because I was already in the hole $400 and I needed the job done. (BIG MISTAKE!) The replacement wood did not match, the other wood that was already in place. After he laid down the new wood, it was not only a different color stain, but the wood was not the same float as the other wood panels creating taller grooves between each wood panel. As it was getting closer to Christmas, I thought the right thing to do was give him the remaining payment (now exceeding $700) because I thought he could use it for Christmas. (Once again, BIG MISTAKE). I can't believe how dumb I was. I wanted to believe in this guy, and went against my better judgment. A couple of days before Christmas he stated that he would be back the following week to finish the completion of the job and fix the issues that he did. After scheduling a day he was a "No Show" and never called me to cancel. I called Amado many times and the phone would just ring and ring, after a while it would just go to voice mail. 3 days later he finally called me back and apologized, and said something came up and couldn't make it that day. (never gave me a reason why he never called me back) especially having to take off from work to supervise him. We then rescheduled for another day that week, and once again he was a no show. I probably called about 30 times that day, eventually going to voicemail as he turned off his phone. (my heart sank and my stomach was in knots) I just knew that since he already got all the money he was never coming back (which made me even more sick to my stomach) that I had just been swindled by this guy after only doing 1/4 of the work.
This week (Jan 2015) I had another subcontractor come and look at what was done, and asked me if I had hired a "High school kid" to do this work (telling me that this looked way beyond amateurish and pointed out to me everything that was wrong.) He then advised me that it would have to all be replaced (which I knew that already). And I told him the story of what had happened. I am now in the process of filing a police report for the Fraud of business practices and Theft. Also looking at suing him civilly.
I wish I had done my homework and looked into this guy, as I can see on here that there already a couple of bad reviews and WARNING's for Amado and his company. I also see how he rebutted another person, saying there are 2 sides to every story. The problem is that there are many stories that all say the same thing about this guy. Its simple, Amado is a FRAUD!!!! Please, please do not use this guy, and be another victim.

Last year (2017) we purchased our first home. We did not want a cookie cutter home...no pun intended. We wanted to put our hand's of approval on our home. We spoke with several entities and for the most part we learned that all of them provide you with a bid and if you sign off on it then you are stuck with them for better or worse. Then one of our friend's told us about Amado Guerrero & Company. We did some research on this entity and found out that there was some blemishes on his history. We told our close friend about this. Our friend told us "sometimes these entities do have issues, however, you have to keep in mind that every problem has 2 sides and it is here were you make your conclusion and decide". "Yes, most entities do have a, some negatives on their history". She told us, "I have never had such or any kind of issues with Amado, he and his team have done multiple project's for me. We knew this because we would attend her home and she would tell us he did these project's and they were big project's unthinkable project's. Well, we kept an open mind and held a meeting with Amado. He came across as humble, sincere, honest, in fact I remember him saying "I am a bad Christian, therefore, I will try not to disappoint you". Well, after several meeting's with Amado he won us over. To make the long story short. We, love what he has done for our home. He has also be over to check on us. In fact we have asked him to do some more handy work for us. Amado, if you some day read this we will continue to reach out to you every time we think of something to be done at our home. The G. Family.
