  Remove old roofing materials and install new asphalt shingle roofs on home and detached garage.

  Project completed 6/1/2023. Joe Amato and the crew of Amato Roof Services LLC did an excellent job of removing the old roof materials and installing a new asphalt shingle roof system on my home and detached garage. The completed job looks awesome and performs as expected. Joe estimated the cost of the project reasonably in comparison to other roofing contractors for the exact same products and workmanship. When you call you will be speaking directly to Joe. There is no secretary and he himself comes to your home to prepare a proposal. He answered all my my questions and addressed my concerns promptly within a day. He had a formal detailed estimate to me by E-mail in 24 hours. Joe has a very likeable, friendly nature about him that made it easier to choose him over the others. It gave me piece of mind that he was quick to respond. In addition, it's a fact that Joe has an extensive amount of knowledge and experience having worked many years alongside his father who started the company 40 years ago. There is no substitute for that. He was on the jobsite all day supervising and some of the time up on the roofs himself helping his men. His crew are his employees. Not guys that move around daily from contractor to contractor. He knows them. He had told me I was on his schedule for late May and gave me a few days notice of the exact start date. Joe, his crew, equipment, and a delivery from the building supply company with new roofing materials arrived at 8 am. They did a great job of protecting the other exterior areas of my home as well as the front plant beds in front by hanging tarps from the gutter area that slope to the grass. At no time did any dumpster or heavy truck go onto my sidewalks or lawn. Clean up was great and not a piece of shingle in the lawn anywhere. They also roll a magnet in the street and yard to pick up any remaining nails. Blew off all the sidewalks. The estimate and payment process went smoothly without any issues. Overall, I am very pleased with having chosen Joe Amato of Amato Roof Services LLC for the install of my new asphalt shingle roofs. I would highly recommend this company to my friends, family, and anyone out there in search of a roofing contractor. It's a detailed review but I believe it deserving. Review written 6/23/2023.
