Ameron caused extensive, unnecessary damage to my property in connection with a sewer line replacement. Workmen drove and parked numerous trucks on wet lawn areas in Springtime, causing deep ruts and damaged the end of a brick walkway that was far from the work area. To install a 4" pipe, our contract envisioned a 10 foot wide work area, instead 4x that width was disrupted, causing extensive destruction of trees and pasture and ripping out 300 feet of horse fence which was left tangled in a pile of brush and debris. Grass was planted over large shards of sewer pipe and rock. A truckload of topsoil was taken from the property. Excessive gravel was ordered and charged for; instead of removing the excess and offering a credit, the large unused pile of gravel was pushed out over pasture and lawn areas without any prior discussion. Management's response was not to set these issues right, but only to get paid. Shop around, the largest company is not always the best.
