Choosing a contractor was a big step for us. My husband had been a contractor, however he felt that someone else should be in charge this time. Our 1861 farmhouse needed another updating and renovation. After meeting with Andy and going over the vision for our home he soon said that he liked our home and he agreed to work on the existing hardwood floors! This was a relief because another flooring group had given us an estimate for vinyl flooring because it would be too difficult to restore our old flooring. We could see that Andy was knowledgeable and conscientious. We entrusted our home to Andy for three months while work was going on. We escaped to Florida.
The hardwood floors in our home had ramp like features and dips. While working on the house he discovered rot and damage in large sections of the old floors. Andy was able to tackle these obstacles with patience and without cutting corners. He possesses many qualities that make a good contractor, attention to detail, top quality finish work, dependable, a good work ethic and his subcontractors were also dependable. With good reason Andy is proud of his work and our 158 year old home shows that. Andy also installed a brand new kitchen, laundry, and powder room. We are overwhelmed with Andys work and the success of our renovation!
