Apex Builders Construction
Founded in 1990, Apex Builders brings more than three decades of experience to residential construction and remodeling in the Greater Fox Valley area, including Decatur, Illinois. Originally led by Rich Van Ham, ownership transitioned in December 2023 to Francesca Kenney and Allan Anderson, who continue the company’s family-owned tradition with the existing crew. Apex Builders specializes in whole house remodeling, room additions, kitchen and bathroom renovations, and basement finishing for homeowners seeking both updates and major transformations. The company completes new home construction as well as renovations to existing properties, drawing on a team of directly employed skilled craftspeople and trusted subcontractors. Apex Builders is known for on-going communication throughout the design and build process, working closely with clients on projects ranging from small updates to large-scale custom homes.
